| Accessibility Meeting |
Thanks to Brian's Woodbadge Tickets a very nice presentation and demonstration on accessibility was put together. The hands on exercises really drove home the reality of some of the difficulties some people are forced to face every day of their lives. |
| Cooking Camp |
Cooking Camp is a real blast. This event challenges the scouts to cook all their meals and eat a patrols. The evening meal on the last day is a joint effort where each patrol cooks a special dish and combines their creations with the other patrols to host a great feast.
Everything from steak, to wings, to ribs, to roasted corn on the cob is served up to all. Adult leaders judge the dishes based on presentation and taste. Everyone has fun at this event. |
| Washington DC |
Chris organized this trip to Washington DC. We camped at the greenbelt park (which has a special loop just for scouters) and used the train to get into town. There is no doubt in my mind that if you missed this trip you missed one of the best. |
